PURPOSE:  To serve God by reaching and discipling high school seniors as we encourage their personal and spiritual growth.

 

VISION:  To be instrumental women for God in our desire to demonstrate God’s love by the way we live, and to create an environment of discipleship for girls and our communities where we are planted.

 

MISSION:  We will accomplish this through mentoring, Bible studies, encouragement, fellowship, and service within our schools and our community.

 

We are looking for girls who:

 

• Are enrolled and actively attending a high school (current Senior).

• Are willing to be active with Gabrielle’s Formals on social media (Facebook & Instagram).

• Have reliable transportation.

Some of the great things about being a Gabrielle’s Girl include earning multiple discounts for your 2020 prom dress, receiving a custom Gabrielle’s t-shirt, seeing our new arrivals first, modeling opportunities, building your college portfolio to include service credit hours, an opportunity for potential future employment at Gabrielle’s Formals & Events, along with making new friends and having fun.

 

Role of a Gabrielle’s Girl:

 

• Promoting Gabrielle’s Formals & Events in person and through social media to include, but not limited to, a minimum of one ministry-based post, one events-based post, and one product advertisement post per month (public posts).

• Modeling dresses for fashion shows, trunk shows, new arrivals, and social media posts.

• Handing out cards, flyers, and other literature for ministry opportunities, event promotions, and special sales.

• Attend and serve at our monthly Bible studies.

• Assist with at least one special event.

• Shadow and/or assist at Gabrielle’s Formals & Events at least one Saturday during prom season.

 

 

Application Process (applications will be reviewed on Friday, September 6th):

 

1. Fill out the Gabrielle’s Girls Application Form that includes Parent Permission section (available in store and web site).

2. Submit a written statement (with your application) describing:

   1. What does “Faith” mean to you?

   2. Why are you interested in becoming a Gabrielle’s Girl?

3. Submit a letter of recommendation from a church official.
